Clinical Interests

Kate has experience in the areas of refugee health, working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and adolescent health.


Kate is involved in research around the psychosocial impact of coming off treatment for children with cancer and also a prospective study of familial psychological adjustment and service needs on completion of childhood cancer treatment.


She has a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Public Health (International) from the University of New South Wales. She started work at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick (SCH) in 2004.
